Técnica y singularidad en Günther Anders y Gilbert Simondon

El objetivo del presente artículo es analizar las tesis centrales de Günther Anders y de Gilbert Simondon sobre la tecnología. Inicialmente se presenta una breve sistematización de las perspectivas de los autores, para abordar luego, más directamente, el problema de las tecnologías como trazo constitutivo de la condición humana. Esta propuesta se lleva a cabo sobre la base de la obra capital de Anders, La obsolescencia del hombre. Se argumenta que la transformación del mundo de los artefactos técnicos tiende a eliminar a la máquina como unidad individual, unidad que pasa a componer un sistema de relaciones y a extenderse más allá del proceso de trabajo. Las implicaciones de esta tendencia en las lógicas del descubrimiento científico también son consideradas en estas páginas.

The aim of this article is to analyze Günther Anders and Gilbert Simondon’s central theses on technology. Departing from a brief systematization of the authors’ perspectives, it approaches the problem of technologies as a constituent feature of the human condition. This proposal is developed on the basis of Anders’s master work, The Outdatedness of Human Beings. This paper argues that the transformation of the world of technical artifacts tends to do away with the machine as an individualized unit, which becomes itself a system of relations and extends far beyond the work process. The implications of this trend in the logics of scientific discovery are also addressed in these pages.
