La vejación a través de las máquinas. El concepto de artificio en Peter Sloterdijk

El objetivo de este artículo es hacer una relectura del pasaje de la técnica premoderna a la técnica moderna a partir de una singular visión del artificio presentada por Peter Sloterdijk en su texto “La vejación a través de las máquinas”. Esta noción de artificio se pondrá en relación con algunas consideraciones de Gilbert Simondon respecto del objeto técnico. Se tomarán en cuenta, tal como hace Sloterdijk, cuáles son los impactos en la constitución de la subjetividad y en la metamorfosis de la psyché de una avanzada del reino de las máquinas. Las preguntas que guían el trabajo son por qué se fortalece desde el Renacimiento una actitud humanista que opone hombre a máquina, y si este proceso, como considera Simondon, es la expresión de una incomprensión ontológica de los orígenes y funciones del objeto técnico.

The purpose of this article is to discuss the passage from the pre-modern technique to the modern technique by using the special concept of artifice presented by Peter Sloterdijk in his text “The vexation through machines”. This notion of artifice will be connected with some of Gilbert Simondon’s considerations regarding the technical object. We will consider, such as Sloterdijk does, which are the consequences of an outpost of the realm of machines in the constitution of the subjectivity and in the metamorphosis of the psyché. The questions that guide the work is why the humanist attitude that opposes man to machine since the Renaissance became strong and if it should be considered, as Simondon does, that this process is the expression of an ontological incomprehension of origins and functions of the technical object.
